Our pork fat is not cured, salted, bleached, deodorized, hydrogenated or altered and can be rendered to make lard. Lard is a semi-solid white fat product that is excellent for putting fat in gamey, or very lean, meat or for adding flavor to any meal (imagine bacon smelling ground beef), if used in place of olive or vegetable oil or butter. If you enjoy baking, use lard as the fat in your recipes to make the best tasting biscuits, pies and tarts.
