Hello Finn Farm Friends!
When we started the sales journey—this e-Shop—we had no sales strategy and probably thought that our “awesome” products would “sell themselves”–I mean, why not? 😊. We paid no thought to the fact that no one really knew us; that we were competing with grocery stores—those places where most people have to go once a week, every week, to purchase supplies… and eggs… and meat… hmm, so convenient!; and that every one of our potential customers probably had a neighbor, or had a friend, a relative, a co-worker, who had a neighbor, that raised chickens and sold eggs—it’s funny how I now notice so many Fresh Eggs for Sale signs posted on the route from our home to… to… to… everywhere—the joy of living in the countryside. Ok, enough rambling already. The point here is that even with all that, dear Reader, we were found!
Over the past year, we have had the pleasure of serving some of the most amazing people in Orange Country 🤔 and anywhere. Do you want to know what these people are like? Well, here goes:
- They found us online or on Instagram and, even if they had never heard of us before, placed a fully-paid order on our website and blindly trusted that we would deliver fresh farm eggs or meat to them the next Saturday;
- They make it a point to talk to us at their houses when we deliver or over email just to find out how we are doing, who we are, what we are about, everything, anything. We have had hour long conversations at some stops—one of us could converse all day if allowed (we won’t say who 😊). We have made lifelong friends;
- They are generous, buying our products and then stubbornly tipping us because we delivered—you really do not have to do that. We pledged to bring our product to you and, believe us, have delivered to places so much further;
- They are steadfast supporters who just want to tell the world how great our products are when we do not really have a coordinated reviews area on our website (thank you! we are working on it! 😊);
- They are loyal and have made us their preferred supplier (we see you, very frequent customers 😊) and will not stop bragging on our products to everyone they know—you guys are truly awesome!;
- They have believed their friends’ and family members’ word and have joined the family;
- They are so forgiving that when we cannot deliver to them on a designated Saturday, or two, because the weather turned our driveway into a sheet of ice (see Post Pic ☹) and we were unable to leave—so kind, they hoped that we are staying safe – wow!;
- They celebrate us on Instagram just because we delivered, or maybe just because—we are truly humbled;
- They like our posts even when we really have no concept of the focus of what we just posted—we are so Insta-challenged, remember? 😊;
- They are everything!
Dear Customers, today we want to thank you for your support, your unwavering loyalty, your trust in our products, your friendship, your kindness, and generosity. Finn Farms would not be very much without your continued support and we are incredibly grateful.
You are our top priority and we are excited for the future and the opportunity to serve you even better. We treasure you!
